These guides support version 1.5 of the DVN software.
We provide complete online guides for all Dataverse Network users. There are several roles defined for users of a DVN installation. Use the following guidelines to determine your role, and then see that role's guide for details about how to use or install the DVN:
- Data Users - Locate and analyze all types of data
- Contributors - Distribute data and receive recognition and citations to it
- Curators - Summarize related data, organize data, or manage multiple sets of data
- Dataverse Admins - Set up and manage contributions to your dataverse, manage the appearance of your dataverse, organize your dataverse collections
- Network Admins - Manage the DVN appearance and environment, manage groups of users, perform other global administration functions
- Installers - Install and configure the Dataverse Network software
- Developers - Create a development environment to review and modify how the Dataverse Network software works
