The Dataverse Network Project

You can create your own dataverse in the IQSS DVN, and then publish your research and study files:

1. On the IQSS DVN homepage, click Create your own Dataverse in the top-right corner.
2. If you do not have an account in the Network:
   

   a. Click Continue to go to the Create Account page.
   b. Complete the required fields, and then click Create Account.
   You see the Agree to Terms page.

   If you have an account and are not logged in:

   a. Click Log In to go to the Login page.
   b. Log in to the Network.
   You see the Agree to Terms page.

   If you have an account and are logged in, click Continue.
   You see the Agree to Terms page.

3. Read the Terms of Use, then check the box for I agree and accept these terms of use.
4. Click Continue to go to the Name Dataverse page.
5. Complete the required fields to name your dataverse, then click Save to create your dataverse.
   You see the Success! page. This page includes a message that provides the URL for your dataverse, and reminds you that your dataverse is not released until you change the settings to Released. You also receive e-mail notification about your new dataverse.

• Add, edit, review, and publish studies. See the Contributors Guide for details.
• Add, edit, and manage collections of studies. See the Curators Guide for details.
• Customize your dataverse's name, page layouts, contacts, and Search results layout. See the Dataverse Admins Guide.
• Add and edit user accounts for contributors (authors), curators, and other admins, and define Terms of Use. See the Dataverse Admins Guide.

Note: You also can use dataverses to publish and manage studies for journal and bookpresses, or to organize data for other groups of users and contributors. See DVs for Journals and Books and DVs for Others for more information.
